Frequently asked questions
how many nights should i plan?

Most travelers enjoy 2-4 nights. Two nights work well for a quick pre/post-cruise stay (think giant tortoise reserve + Tortuga Bay). With 3 nights, add a day-yacht excursion (North Seymour or Bartolomé). 4+ nights lets you split time between Santa Cruz (beach/town access) and San Cristóbal (sea-lion vibes + coastal walks). We will tailor nights to your flights, interests, and pace.

beachfront vs. highlands?

Beachfront (Santa Cruz, San Cristóbal) = easy access to town, docks, and water activities—perfect if you want to stroll to dinner or hop on day tours.
Highlands (Santa Cruz) = quiet nature, cooler evenings, and frequent tortoise sightings—great for privacy and views. Transfers between town and highlands are typically 15–30 minutes. Tell us your style and we’ll suggest the best Galápagos hotel, lodge, or villa for your route.

transfer & days tours, how does it work?

We coordinate everything: airport pickups from or San Cristóbal, ferry or road transfers, and hotel check-ins. Want to see more? We will reserve guided day tours, from snorkeling and kayaking to naturalist-led landings, and manage permits, gear, and timings so your days flow smoothly.

dietary needs & wi-fi?

Dietary requests (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies) are typically well accommodated with advance notice, we share your preferences with each property. Wi-Fi is improving across the islands but remains stronger in town, lighter in remote highlands. We will advise realistically so you can plan around any light-connectivity windows.

family rooms, connecting options?

Yes. Several luxury Galapagos accommodations offer suites, connecting rooms, or private villas ideal for families. We will confirm occupancy policies, add cribs/extra beds if needed, and recommend room locations (quiet wings, near pool, etc.). During high season occupancy fill fast, ask us early for the best family rooms.

how far in advance should i book?

For the best rooms and villas, book 4–9 months ahead. Peak dates (Christmas/New Year, June–August) can require 9–12 months. Shoulder months are more flexible (often 2–4 months). If you are set on specific suites, private villas, or adjoining rooms, earlier is better, tell us your dates and we will hold the right Galapagos stay while we finalize plans.
