life on board
Your day starts with sunrise on deck, binoculars in hand, the islands impossibly close.
Shore excursions are kept small and flexible, so you can focus on what drew you to the Galapagos: wildlife, photography, or simply wonder.
Back aboard Celebrity Flora, suites invite you to slow down: a quiet read, a curated cocktail, a hot shower, and views from nearly everywhere.
After a guided talk, dinner celebrates local flavors and stories, and the night ends under a sky so clear you can hear the ocean breathe.

services & experiences
Pace & Access: Daily choices range from relaxed coastal walks to more active hikes and snorkel sessions. Guides present easy / moderate / active options when possible so mixed-ability travelers and multi-generational families can enjoy the Galapagos together.
Packing: Quick-dry layers, long-sleeve UV shirt, brimmed hat, polarized sunglasses, lightweight rain shell, and a small daypack. Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a dry bag to protect cameras/phones on Zodiac rides.
Landing: Expect a mix of wet landings (stepping from a Zodiac into ankle-deep water) and dry landings onto docks or lava rock. Lightweight water shoes or strap-on sandals help on sandy and rocky shores.
Snorkeling & Gear: Snorkel sets and wetsuits are typically available on board (sizes vary). If you prefer a perfect fit, consider bringing your own mask. Non-snorkelers can usually opt for coastal walks or Zodiac coastal exploration.
Connectivity: Internet access can be limited or intermittent at sea. Download playlists, books, and podcasts before you sail—and enjoy the stars.
good to know
faqs
How far in advance should I book Celebrity Flora?
Peak dates fill 9–12 months in advance; shoulder season can be more flexible. Hold a suite early for best choice.
Are families options available?
Families are welcome; minimum ages, bedding, and inter-connecting suite options may apply by date/category. Ask us for best weeks for families, suggested cabin pairings, and private-guide options.
What’s the best time to visit the islands?
The Galapagos are year-round. Wildlife is visible all year; behaviors (nesting, courtship, pupping) shift by month.
Dec–May (warm/wet): calmer seas, warmer water, lush landscapes, great for snorkeling and land wildlife observation.
Jun–Nov (cool/dry): nutrient-rich currents, prolific marine life, cooler water, great for sea wildlife action.
